We would love to baptize you!

BEFORE FILLING OUT THIS FORM you must speak with a NEXT STEPS TEAM MEMBER.
The NEXT STEPS TEAM MEMBER must review this form with you. They will approve and submit.

THE PERSON BEING BAPTIZED, EVEN IF A MINOR/CHILD, MUST FILL OUT THIS FORM. A parent may help, but WE NEED THE FORM TO BE IN THE CANDIDATE'S NAME.

Baptism is an Ordinance of the Church, commanded by Jesus Christ for those who have made a confession of Jesus as God and their personal Lord, believing He rose physically from the dead.

Having made that commitment, baptism serves two purposes.

  1. It is a public profession of your decision to submit to Christ as Lord. The old person that you were was crucified with Christ. You are a new person (Ephesians 2). Baptism represents your burial and rebirth in Jesus.
  2. Your baptism serves as your public profession, and you now serve Jesus and plan to do so for the rest of your life.
Baptism does not save you, but it is a public profession of your salvation and His Lordship of your life.

Once you have met with a NEXT STEPS TEAM MEMBER, please fill out this form completely so we can schedule your baptism!

YOU WILL BE CONTACTED with specific details a few days before your scheduled baptism. 
  • If you requested a specific date, you should assume that is the date unless we connect with you to reschedule. If you do not hear from us the week prior to your requested date, connect directly with Pastor Kevin Duffy (kevin@villagebc.church).
  • If you do not request a specific date, we will connect with you to schedule.

We will schedule your baptism as soon as possible unless you have a specific date in mind.

Every person who is baptized will receive a "REDEEMED" shirt that is theirs to keep

REQUEST FOR BAPTISM REVIEW & APPROVAL

All requests for baptism must be reviewed and approved by a NEXT STEPS TEAM MEMBER before submittal.

NEXT STEPS TEAM MEMBER who reviewed and approved this request, including the candidate's testimony.

NEXT STEPS TEAM MEMBER must enter their individual approval code and then submit the form.
